Kolea was a resort real estate development along the waterfront on the big island of Hawaii. Properties sold for millions of dollars so the project needed a website that reflected this high end image. The leave behind brochure given when purchasers gave a sizable deposit featured a cover made of slabs of thin-cut lava stone with the logo set in hand-placed coral. The website had multiple flowing elements that slid into place from left and right sides, building an image on each page as you watched. We also built a spectacular interactive kiosk that was placed in strategic locations throughout the Hawaiian islands. Alas, despite my pleas that I needed to visit the property the requests were never approved.
