This flexible and customizable Timber Climber 1 is a versatile play feature that can stand alone as a single 6′ x 6′ climber or platform that can be combined with any number of platforms or other play features such as log tangles or adventure zones. The towers can be linked with rope bridges or log tangles.

Timber Climber 1 is constructed with BC yellow cedar. All ropes are nylon-coated tamper proof steel core. Slides are either plastic or stainless steel, depending on selection.

Log tangle 2 adds more options for our popular log tangle product. This version consists of 6 logs and a climbing net. Access from the ground level logs to a series of logs that vary in height up to about 4′ 6″ (approx 137cm) provides a challenge for a wide range of children’s ages and abilities. The climbing net provides an alternate climbing challenge that can incorporate movement from log to net and net to log.

Log tangles offer a great climbing experience that challenge a wide range of abilities with a natural climbing experience. Log tangles can be combined with a wide range of play elements.

Log Tangles are made from Alaskan Yellow cedar locally sourced in BC. Logs are peeled and sanded and range in diameter from 8″ – 18″ diameter (20.3cm – 45.7cm) and in length from 5 feet – 11 feet (152cm – 335cm).

This custom log play hut is constructed in a post and beam style. We build the hut on a metal base and secure it to a concrete housekeeping slab or concrete footings. Typical construction consists of two benches and a table. We can customize the table and bench configuration.

Measuring 78 x 60 x 110 inches in size, each log hut is coated with non-toxic Broda Pro-Tek-Tor external finish for long-term weather protection.

Children will feel right at home with this naturally-inspired log slab table and stool set, enabling them to engage socially in a comfortable setting that connects them directly to nature. The Log Slab Table is cut from a single 3-foot cedar and the cedar slab top is positioned on a peeled cedar base with peeled 18-inch cedar stools. Constructed of reclaimed logs from the west coast providing a unique social gathering spot. We can surface mount it on a concrete slab or in ground. It comes with movable or stationary log stump seats.Finished with a non-toxic locally sourced stain.

Playscape’s Cedar Sandboxes are like no other as 8 cedar logs on a galvanized steel frame provide the base for sturdy 12-foot posts, these 12-foot x 12-foot sandboxes are ideal for young children.

This sandbox and arbor offer countless hours of creative and social play with the option of attaching a shade or weather canopy. We use a metal base to attach both the logs and the arbor post to create one solid unit that is repairable. It is designed in such a way as to keep as much of the wood structure out of contact with the ground and sand that is around it. This unit can be surface mounted on grade or on a slab. Finished with a non-toxic locally sourced stain.

Playscape’s Log Planters are 3 logs in height and provide a sturdy bed for any tree or plant arrangement. Planters are constructed at a comfortable height to encourage children to garden and reduce the likelihood of the planting being damaged. Cedar logs are milled to fit flush ensuring fast and efficient on-site installation. Logs are end sealed to reduce checking and cracking. All logs are inspected and sanded to be free of splinters and sharp edges.

Landscaping fabric is provided, you add your soil or growing medium of your choice.

Playscape’s Log Tangle enables children to climb and practice balance on a tangle of 6 cedar logs securely bolted together and mounted on a galvanized steel base.

The log tangle is surface-mounted and low to the ground, making it a great option for spaces where you are not able to anchor a larger structure. The lower height makes this piece a good option for a wider range of ages. The log tangle quickly becomes a challenging piece to navigate for some and at other times is a great place to site and socialize.

Measuring 6 ft x 6 ft x 3 ft, the tangle is end sealed and finished with a non-toxic locally sourced stain.
